FAQs
What are your offline payment methods?

We can take checks, PayPal (Friends and Family) or Zelle payments for any add-ons. Payment by credit card is allowed through online booking, however. Please contact the host if you need to use one of these payment methods.

Do you provide a grill?
​
Unfortunately not at this time!
​
Are pets allowed?
​
Yes! We charge a one-time $75/pet fee with a limit of 2 pets per reservation. We kindly ask that you not allow the pets in the bedrooms or on the furniture at any time during your stay. We ask this so that we can accommodate any future guests with allergies by limiting their exposure to any dander. However, we are a pet friendly house, so if you do have allergies, please let us know so that we can schedule an extra deep clean before your visit to help you out!

Can we have friends over?
​
You can! But please ask permission first so that we can ensure that the neighbors are not disturbed. Parties are strictly forbidden, and unregistered overnight guests will be charged the additional guest fee.

Do you have quiet hours?
​
Yes, quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am and are subject to a warning followed by a fine. After a second warning, guests may forfeit their reservation with no refund if they do not comply. Please have fun, but do it indoors so as not to irritate our residential neighbors!

How do I get the key?
​
You’ll receive your temporary smartlock code via automated email the morning of your check-in.

Is parking included?
​
Parking is included only for Apartment C (The Sweet Pea Retreat) for 43 Spring St, and the Southern Peach has its own off-street parking available. All guests for Apts A (Charming Charleston Inn), B (Boho Chateau) and D (The Haven) must park elsewhere. We can send you the address for the closest garage, but please keep in mind that we are not responsible for parking at these garages nor is parking included in your total with us. The closest garage is just around the corner on King St, and their rates are for each calendar day, not for each 24-hour time period. We are not responsible for any experiences with private or City of Charleston parking garages.

Can I check-in early or checkout late?
​
We do offer both options for an additional fee, but it’s subject to approval by the host and based on our ability to ensure the home will be ready for you in time. Same-day custom check-ins and checkouts are limited to 1 hour extensions in order for us to ensure we have enough time to complete our changeover protocol. 24 hours notice is preferred and we cannot guarantee our ability to accommodate same-day requests.

Can I book for more than a week?
​
Yes you can! As long as the entirety of the dates you want are available, you can go ahead and book right here on the website. Our dates book up quickly though, so you should act fast. All rentals must be paid in full at least 2 weeks before check-in.

What is your cleanliness guarantee?
​
We are more than happy to send someone over to re-clean any standard changeover items if they were missed provided you let us know within one hour of your check-in. Unfortunately after that hour we may not be able to schedule someone in a timely manner and will not provide any refunds for missed items if they are not reported.

Do you have a backyard at 43 Spring St?
​
We do at, but it is not currently included in any reservations. We are hoping to have it cleaned up and renovated by Fall 2023 as a shared usable outdoor space. Stay tuned for updates or follow us on Instagram to see the project develop!

Are there any items to note before I book?
​
Yes indeed! Please note these items as they may affect you as a guest:

This property is raised, so there are stairs for all of the properties

We are located in the heart of downtown, so noise on the weekends is to be expected - there is nothing we can do about it. If you are a light sleeper or have small children, please expect noise from parties and from the street at night.

These are older apartments that have been updated - mustiness and creakiness is perfectly normal as we are in a coastal town with humidity levels in the 90-100% range most of the year.

We provide dehumidifiers for your convenience, but you are not required to use them. THEY DO FILL UP AND NEED TO BE EMPTIED WHEN THAT HAPPENS.

“Palmetto Bugs” are perfectly normal for Charleston, and they are in EVERY home here. They are not dangerous, and they are not a sign of uncleanliness. No refunds will be given if they find their way inside. We are happy to send someone to kill it for you though.

We have security cameras on the exterior of the building for your security and for insurance purposes. By booking you agree to being recorded for emergency purposes. It is illegal to tamper with our cameras.

We are pet friendly, but we do have pet rules that must be adhered at all times or you will be asked to leave or charged a fine for non-compliance.
